Glass
The windscreen is a laminated item with dot matrix design and top sun band with green tint. To prove the accuracy of the Torero body we have made all the glass to original sizes and curvatures (including the windscreen) and they all fit to our body perfectly. The door glass is toughened and tinted with bottom black band to stop viewing inside the doors, and rear quarter lights are perimeter trimmed in black and again green tinted to match the door glass. The rear panel is constructed in double-glazed laminate of 16mm total depth to keep engine noise from intruding the cabin.
All glass is made to exact specification for Parallel Designs and "E" marked (except the rear panel). The glass can be purchased as a 6 piece kit or individually if required such as if a breakage occurs.
Mirrors
The mirrors are fully electric and retractable as specified by the S.V.A. Countless attempts at trying to replicate the original in fibreglass were OK, but were not good enough for the Torero. Therefore we had no option but to use the expensive injection moulded plastic route as found on the original item. In fact, so good are our mirror housings, as with some other Torero parts, that we are selling them to owners of original cars. Original equipment glass is used in our housings for accuracy.
