Parallel Designs is an exclusive company engaged in the manufacture and assembly of the Torero supercar, either in component, part built or turnkey form. The aim of this project was to replicate a car as accurately as possible whilst staying within an 'acceptable' price bracket. However, as you venture through this website you will see many references to 'original' or 'genuine' parts. Whilst this might appear at first to be the expensive way of doing things we have in fact managed to keep the use of genuine, high value parts to a minimum. There are still a few high value genuine parts required for the Torero (such as the windscreen wiper asembly) but we feel that those parts which we have had to retain as genuine are absolutely necessary, either because replicating them would not be financially viable or finding a cheaper alternative would compromise what the car is all about, ie authenticity. We do not pretend to offer the cheapest kit around, however we feel that nothing is available to match the quality of the Torero anyway, so comparisons are difficult, if not impossible. There may be a time when the Torero comes up against some genuine competition but we are confident that the current pricing structure will still remain very reasonable.

The company began as a partnership of two long time enthusiasts and builders, well known in the kit car industry. Both have built their own Countach replicas with the resulting blood, sweat and tears that these cars commanded. It is this knowledge that was drawn upon to develop the Torero replica to the high level that you will see today and with many of the pitfalls of replicas past ironed out. The whole project has taken 3 years in its gestation and during this time, thousands of hours have been spent designing the complete kit with the home builder in mind, we specialise in the servicing and maintenance of high-end sportscars. this allowes the Torero to be developed to such a high level
